1. What Information We Collect

The short answer: Very little, and nothing that identifies you personally.

Information You Provide:

  • Calculator inputs (age, weight, height) - processed locally, not stored
  • Email address - only if you contact us directly
  • Any feedback or questions you send us

Information Collected Automatically:

  • Pages you visit and features you use
  • General location (country/city level, not specific address)
  • Device type and browser information
  • How you found our site (referral source)

Important: Your calculator results (BMI, TDEE, body fat, etc.) are calculated in your browser and never sent to our servers. We literally can't see your personal fitness data.

2. How We Use This Information

We use the minimal data we collect to:

  • Understand which calculators are most popular
  • Fix bugs and improve user experience
  • Respond to your emails and questions
  • See general traffic patterns (not individual behavior)
  • Make sure the site works well on different devices

We DON'T use your information to:

  • Create user profiles or track individuals
  • Sell or rent data to third parties
  • Send marketing emails (unless you specifically ask)
  • Share your information with advertisers

3. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies for basic functionality. Here's exactly what:

Essential Cookies:

  • Remember your unit preference (metric vs imperial)
  • Keep the site working properly
  • No personal data stored

Analytics Cookies (Google Analytics):

  • Track page views and general usage patterns
  • Help us understand what content is helpful
  • Anonymous and aggregated data only

Advertising Cookies (Google AdSense):

  • Show relevant ads to support the free service
  • Managed entirely by Google
  • You can opt out anytime

Your choice: You can disable cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, but some preferences might not be saved between visits.

4. Third-Party Services

We use a few trusted services to run the site:

Google Analytics

Helps us understand site usage. They have their own privacy policy. We've configured it for maximum privacy - IP anonymization is enabled.

Google's Privacy Policy

Google AdSense

Shows ads to keep the service free. They may use cookies to show relevant ads based on your browsing.

AdSense Terms

Content Delivery Networks (CDN)

We use CDNs to load fonts and icons faster. They don't collect personal data.

Note: When you click external links, you're subject to those sites' privacy policies, not ours.

5. How We Protect Your Data

  • HTTPS encryption on all pages
  • No storage of personal fitness data
  • Regular security updates
  • Limited access to any collected data
  • No passwords to worry about (no accounts!)

Since we don't store personal data, there's less to protect. But we still take security seriously for the minimal data we do handle.

6. Your Rights & Choices

You have complete control over your data:

You can:

  • Use the site without providing any personal information
  • Disable cookies in your browser
  • Opt out of Google Analytics tracking
  • Request any data we have about you (spoiler: it's not much)
  • Ask us to delete any information we have

For EU Users (GDPR):

You have additional rights including access, rectification, erasure, and portability of your data. Contact us to exercise these rights.

For California Users (CCPA):

You have the right to know what data we collect and request its deletion. We don't sell personal information.

7. Children's Privacy

Our site is for users 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you're a parent and think your child has provided information, contact us and we'll remove it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as we add new features or regulations change. We'll always show the update date at the top. Major changes will be announced on the homepage.

Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.

9. Questions or Concerns?

We take your privacy seriously. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle data, please reach out:

Email: ttrening@hotmail.com

We typically respond within 24-48 hours

Bottom line: We respect your privacy. We collect minimal data, don't sell anything, and give you full control. That's our promise.
